Japanese sweets for Tea Ceremony in January, 2019. 季節の茶菓 1月

Hi !
Today I introduce one of Japanese sweets, Tea Ceremony confectionery.

Since this year started, I ate these three ↓↓↓

🍡Today's sweets🍡

"Hanabira-mochi (花びら餅: meaning petals)" with Matcha (powdered green tea). This used to be enjoyed in Kyoto as New-Year sweet. The flavor of mashed bean is sweet white miso (白味噌). A burdock (of course, cut shin), simmered with sugar, is wrapped by soft rice cake.

This sweet is named "Matsu no Yuki (松の雪: snow on the branches of a pine tree)". I guess that a small bean is compared with a pine cone.

This sweet is named "Haru-Kaze (春風: a spring breeze)". It's soft color (white, pink and green in pastel colors) causes me warm feelings. When I split it into half, a interesting combination of colors came.

All of them, very delicious!!!!😋
